Unstable Symphonies

Exhibition of sculpture by Raquel Fernández Santos
From September 10 to October 10, 2020

* Musical composition conceived to be performed by an orchestra and consisting of three or four long-duration movements with a certain unity of tone and development.

Raquel Fernández Santos invites us with this resounding exhibition to enter her inner world, to reflect, from gratitude, on the concept of death as a generator of continuous dialogue with life.

In this contextual and personal rebirth, Raquel transports us, through her work, to discover the common thread of her creative process, where matter and form come together in this symphony.

This journey that we present in this exhibition takes us from the origin of Fukusima I, to the present day with the work Symphony II, which concretizes the beginning of this renaissance, as a starting point in which it forcefully marks us a new line of development. of her work towards the excellence of finishes and materials.

The triangle, symbol of femininity and strength, is the figure that represents Raquel’s work, which, organized in different planes, achieves shapes and volumes, which lead us to a symphony of different movements, which recreate unstable geometries, which to the beat of the music find companions in these noble materials of this show marked by elegance.
