RARO is the vertex of union of a heterogeneous group of artists, who met and emerged in the winter of 2016. Include Diego Canogar, Czili, David González Grande, Olopo Kram, Zvonimir Kremenic, José Quintanilla, Raúl Romanillos, José Luis Romero, Ubaldo Sedano, and the guest artist on this occasion, the sculptor Pablo Redondo = Odnoder, aimed to this appointment reflections on the relationship of beginning and ending, idea and nothing, of each of the members of a group of rare, different or unusual creatives.
“Conductive wire” is the exhibition of sculpture and photography that, supported by full freedom of action, and showing off its independent critical thinking and not attached to trends, but to the collaboration of subtle and sensual beauty, moves before the force of pure intellectual impulse.
What do an image of dilapidated walls invaded by nature, a Dalinian mask created from metal debris, the army of walking wooden figures, or the luminous cubes that enclose timid twigs have in common? Nothing at first glance. However, there is a common thread that supports the work of this heterogeneous group in its expressive but coincident aspect in their search for a meeting place and vital reflection.
We are talking about Grupo RARO whose origin arose in the winter of 2016 and whose members identify with an idea and a motivation that transcends personal style. It is the sum of individualities that gives way to these interesting rarities created by the artists and now presented in the wonderful Spring 9
“ Conductive wire” is the title of the latest proposal from Grupo RARO. In it, the artists reflect on various themes with disparate techniques, but especially sticking to sculptural work, although without leaving aside other proposals such as photography.
Include Diego Canogar, Czili, David González Grande, Olop Okram, Zvonimir Kremenić, José Quintanilla, Raúl Romanillos, José Luis Romero, Ubaldo Sedano, and as a guest artist the sculptor Odnoder = Pablo Redondo, aimed to a game where different creations intertwine, like the “Ariadna thread”, leads us fluently to the solution of an approach that seemed to have no way out but that thanks to that guide allows us to find our way back within the conceptual labyrinth, as mythologically managed by Theseus in his fight against the Minotaur.
Rare not attached to trends, but with independent critical thinking, creative minds in their abstract and abject side, while at the same time being kindly collaborative with subtle and sensual beauty. With an irrepressible instinctual tendency in the intellectual movement beyond Cartesian norms or conventions. Rare, gladiators of freedom of thought and deed.
As dictated by the origin of the word, rare, from the Latin rarus.
We behave in an unusual way, and practice extraordinary, unusual or frequent thinking.We are rare in our class or species, also noted, outstanding and excellent in our universes. We display the flamboyant of genius or behavior and suffer from a propensity to single out. Some say that we are like a rarefied gas, with low density and consistency. We do not care.
